The Hayase! Australian comics wiki
This project aims to chronicle Australian comics in every way imaginable: its history, its present, its future and the people who have created them. The wiki format suits this aim perfectly, providing an online encyclopaedia of Australian comics while complementing the existing online community.
Create an account and you can contribute to it as well! Only logged in users can edit pages, but anyone is free to browse through them. Registered users can edit pages, add suggestions to existing text, upload images to accompany entries and carry out discussions on your talk page. There's no limit to what you can bring to this project... creator profiles, comic synopses, character bios, historical tidbits, we want them all!
How to use this site
If you're new to using a Wiki environment then you may want to read through the documentation at metawikipedia:Help:Contents. If you come across any useful tricks or tips for editing, feel free to add them to our local help files at Help:Contents.
If you have ideas for what should be included in a section but are not sure how to implement them, simply post on the discussion (talk) page for that section.
IRC channel
You can chat to other users on the IRC channel, #hayase on AustChat. You will need an IRC client such as mIRC, Ircle or the clients built in to Mozilla or Trillian.
LiveJournal community
Updates, news and relevant tidbits are infrequently posted to the Hayase LJ community. If you are a LiveJournal user you can join and/or watch the community from its info page; members may create new posts as well.
